Hope Estate Hunter Valley is a sign of the times for the Hunter Valley, if there is something that wine lovers want on a weekend away Hope will have it! The old Rothbury Estate has been transformed over the years and now is the most expansive offering in the Hunter Valley with a winery, brewery, distillery, function space, events and concerts.

When choice is the most important element when choosing a brewery, Hope gets 5 stars! A massive 29 different taps with IPAs, XPAs NEIPAS, Lagers, Stout, Sours and Ciders, ranging from 3.5% - 10% ABV, so everyone's preferences are catered for.

The terrace is the best place to sit with your little selection beers, stare out at teh view, watch the clouds roll by the kangaroos sitting under trees and slowly sip on your four 100ml beers on the tasting paddle

The purpose made paddles sits each beer perfectly with a very clever smaller hole in front of each for a bottle top with your selection, a very easy to remember which is which.
BEERS
Oat Cream IPA 7.0%,
Super juicy New England Pale Ale 4.5%,
West Coast IPA 7.0%, Bloody Orange
NEIPA 7.0%. Sadly nothing really grabbed

I've been trying Hope's beers since they released a Blonde in a champagne bottle many, many, years ago and I've always enjoyed their diversity. This time around the alcohol was high, but felt a little uncontrolled, maybe due to having just a few too many options and not refining a solid core range.

Those travelling with puppies, as we do with Monte Cavoodle will no double select where to visit based on who welcomes dogs. Hope Estate is a 100% no dog policy indoors, but they are welcome out on the terrace, Hope just asks that you keep them on a lead so they dont chase after the roos.
