🛎️ Bucket List 43: Become a member of Les Clefs d'Or

Les Clefs d'Or, also known as the society of "The Golden Keys", is an international association of professional hotel concierges that was founded back in 1929. The local Australian chapter, Les Clefs d'Or Australia, officially began back in 1976.

Throughout my years in the hospitality industry, with The InterContinental Hotel Sydney and Accor Hotels, I had the privilege working along side some of the most iconic, knowledgeable and professional Les Clefs d'Or Australia members, all committed to upholding the highest standards of service and professionalism in the hotel concierge industry.

Leaving hotel concierge for Carrington Publishing Group and their luxury traveller magazine titles: Where Sydney, Where Melbourne and Where Brisbane, Sydney Concierge Map and After Dark, all printed specifically for 5 star hotel in Australia, my connection with Les Clefs d'Or and other leading Australian concierge strengthened.

28th July 2014 at the Les Clefs d'Or AGM in Melbourne I was humbled to been awarded the privilege of becoming an Honorary Lifetime Member of Les Clefs d'or Australia. Honorary lifetime membership (now called associate member) recognises years of commitment and passion to the concierge fraternity, hospitality, service and the luxury traveller market.

Now being back in the concierge industry as the General Manager of Etymon Concierge and Black Key Lifestyle Management Im once again back in the concierge industry I love, managing a team that delivers hotel inspired service to the residential marke and private concierge services.

This esteemed organization represents the pinnacle of excellence in the hospitality industry, and I am honored to be counted among its members. I am excited to learn from, and collaborate with, the incredible professionals in this community, as we continue to uphold the legacy of service through friendship.
